My Mom in the Rockies

This is a photo of my Mom at the top of Kicking Horse. My Mom really loved the mountains.
It is a ten minute car ride and a twenty minute gondola ride away from the house. I really wish I could move out there.

Can you believe they make these for kids? It barely fits in my hand. I bought this at the dollar store. That's right, $1 plus tax.

Two Girls

I didn't take this picture, but I kind of made it. I took a photograph of a detail of someone's holiday snap off a website. I took the photo right off the screen of my computer and then I got the roll developed and then I scaned the printed photo and then I doctored it a bunch in Photoshop.
See above for a picture of the index print from the roll of film that I used.
I wonder what the photo lab person at Zehrs thought about the collection of photos on one roll?

At The Lake

This is a photo of my Mom and Sister on the ice in front of the old family cottage in Quebec. I was sixteen when I took it.
I used my Grandfather's old Minolta which my Mom let me use.

Pixel Bot

Pixel Bot is almost out of Post Production. At least it will be when Faustine gets to my house with the DVD of the movie I just finished. She burned it for me because electronics retailers in Windsor refuse to carry Mac compatible DVD burners, and because she's always willing to help out.

Death Smells Like Stale Whiskey and Sports Socks

I feel kind of like I'm swimming with whales. Sort of like there are all of these super potent things swimming around me and that at any time they could crush me, leave me or lovingly rub up against me.

Kitchener Hotel

Karmen and I stayed in this room a few months ago.

Between Seats

Inside the Greyhound between Calgary and Banff.

My Mom

Here's a picture of my Mom when she was younger. My Uncle Ray found it a few days ago.

He's not technically my Uncle, but he's my Dad's best friend from when they were kids and he's always been like an Uncle, maybe better.

Also pictured: Ray's Father and Uncle.
